Scorpyd Deathstalker Crossbow: Detailed Specifications

Size and Weight

This Deathstalker is a lightweight Reverse Draw crossbow. Its reverse draw design makes it well balanced, and the weight feels less. It uses one-piece carbon technology. It only weighs 6 pounds making this one of the most powerful Scorpyd crossbows at a lightweight. It measures 16.1 inches uncocked, and 9 inches cocked. The length of this crossbow is 32.5 inches. Thus it is not the most compact crossbow out there, but it is still an excellent crossbow for hunting in a blind or treestand.

Reverse Draw

The riser is towards the centre of the bow, thanks to a combination of archery factors. It also employs an inverted style cam, with the string exiting the front of the cam rather than the back. The diameter of the cam improves the power stroke. It also has a higher arrow speed and a flatter trajectory. As a result, it is the fastest crossbow.

Speed

The first feature that a bowhunter looks for in a crossbow is speed. With a 370-grain arrow, it can fire bolts at a mind-blowing 415FPS. It incorporates a number of technologies that work together to improve performance.

Safety

The patented anti-dry fire (ADF) device on this Deathstalker model is unlike any other. Unlike many other brands that fire the string a short distance before catching it with a lever, the Kempf-TEC ADF really prevents the latch from releasing the bowstring if no arrow is present.

The safety bar is placed exactly beneath the seer lever by Kempf-TEC. The latch will not be able to release the string as long as the safety is on. The safety lever is located just above the stock’s pistol grip, making it easy to release when you’re ready to fire. As long as the Kempf-TEC latch assembly is used correctly, it will provide excellent reliability.

Cocking

A Short Sled Cocker or Rope Cocker is included with the Deathstalker. With the Scorpyd Deathstalker, you may also use the ACUdraw pro cocking mechanism or the Scorpyd Aero Crank.

Cocking a crossbow with the ACUdraw pro device makes cocking simple. The ACUdraw is totally integrated into the stock, and cocking is noiseless. With the ACUdraw pro cocking device, the draw weight is reduced to only 8.5 lbs of effort.

Deathstalker Arrows

With 415FPS, the Scorpyd Deathstalker is fast.

It’s worth noting that this crossbow can only hit 420FPS while using 370-grain bolts. Six Scorpyd Black Carbon Deathstalker Arrows were included in the crossbow kit.

Carbon is used to make the arrows. Carbon arrows are significantly tougher than aluminium arrows due to their durability, strength, and weight, and they can withstand a lot of hits and shooting power.

Scope

Scorpyd fitted a 1.55 Hawke Non-Illuminated XB1 Scope to the Deathstalker. This scope has a precision reticle that allows you to aim at exact 10-yard intervals from 20 to 100 yards. It’s a fantastic scope that should easily meet your 415FPS requirements!

ACUdraw Cocking Mechanism

It is one of the most user-friendly and practical solution available on the market for cocking crossbow accurately and effortlessly. It requires only the strength of the average person’s index finger to operate.

Final Verdict

Scorpyd did a great job upgrading Deathstalker 415FPS. This Scorpyd Deathstalker delivers an excellent performance. It is a powerful, lightweight, and compact reverse draw crossbow. Further, it comes with a tactical frame that offers a fully machined billet lower pica tinny rail, pistol grip and adjustable buttstock.

Scorpyd combines the unmatched balance, precision, smoothness and versatility of reverse draw system. Best of all, it comes as ready to hunt package and includes plenty of accessories like a scope, a quiver, arrows and many others. Overall, it has solid build quality, but at the same time, it is an expensive model with a lot of innovative features that are worth the money.
